Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. This volume would have been at least fine except for a brown stain on the outside of the center of the outside of the pages from about page 150 on. The stain looks like ink. It is about 1/2 inch in length and does not in anyway impact the text. There is a price sticker from 1970 inside the front board and some foxing of the overleaves. The dust jacket is in great shape with some very light shelf wear and two very small tears at the top and bottom of the spine.
