VG/VG. 1st. 19 Cm By 12.5cm, One of Pat Lawlor's lesser known titles, the 17 essays are designed to " make a clear break from the old Christmas idea" by avoiding the usual "sad and dreary" Christmas tales, replacing them with gayity and "healthy laughs." For his 116 page book (cost two shillings and sixpence) Lawlor enlisted two top illustrators, Gordon Minhinnick and Fred Alexander, to add the drawings. Few spots, edgewear and small tears to the illustrated DJ, Not often seen in such good condition.
