Revised edition (originally 1984). 43pp, (8.5 x 11 inches), b&w illustrations by Zoe Viles. Very Good condition, loose pages laid between stiff covers. The pages are punched for a 3 hole binder (Original production, not added later). The title page has a soiled area at the lower corner, and the next two pages have just a tiny spot at the very edge of the page (in the same place). Otherwise clean and bright, no tears or creases. This is a how-to book, with a little sample booklet tucked into a pocket on page 21. I think it was originally devised in connection with one of the Book Arts Festivals which were held on the grounds at the Palace of the Governors. They were hands-on events where many phases of the book arts were demonstrated, from paper making to actual printing and binding. There was a special emphasis on working with children and young people and introducing them to the making of books, and this book is in that same tradition.
