No Binding. Condition: Collectible-Very Good. Original black and white photo postcard. No date, circa 1920s. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2." Title printed at the top of the image. "Published by the L. & L. Drug Co., La Grande, Oregon" and "Post Cards of Quality.--The Albertype Co., Brooklyn, N. Y." are printed on the back. Postcard is unused. Postcard is very clean and intact except for some offsetting on the front image and age toning on the back. A Very Good copy. This postcard shows an active lumber mill in La Grande, Oregon. Plumes of steam and smoke are visible from the mill's towers.

Plumes of steam and smoke are visible from its towers. The title is possible an alternate spelling of the Mt. Emily Lumber Company which operated from 1920-1956. The company became a subsidiary of Valsetz Lumber Company in 1955, which, in turn, became the Templeton Lumber Company. Templeton was then sold and acquired by the Boise Cascade Company in 1960 which still operates to this day as a manufacturer and distributor of wood products.
