Magazine, approximately 8 1/4 x 10 3/4 inches, pp 2-34, illustrated with black and white photographs and a few drawings; full color front cover (clown and small elephant) with Coca-Cola ad on reverse side. Fair. Age yellowed, front cover detached, 1 1/2 inch tear on lower edge, several lesser nicks, MISSING rear cover (starts with article by Floyd King and ends with 1951 offical route) , 4 inch tear along fold on spine at first and last leaves, approximately 1/2 to 1 inch deep light tan stain on top edge of textblock, flipped through, otherwise tight, clean, relatively crisp and unmarked. Consists of articles about circus, including "Circus Appeals to All; Has No Race or Creed", various attractions, featured acts in each of the three rings, promotion of a wild west show starring Tama Frank ad his famous movie horse Flack, etc. Circus; ephemera; history; Baby Boomer; nostalgia; popular culture.
