Diplomat Lloyd Thomson (1919-2015) was the first Australian Ambassador to the Holy See (Vatican) (1973-74, 1980-83), & resident outside Italy at other Australian diplomatic posts, including the Netherlands (The Hague), Ireland (Dublin), the UN in Switzerland (Geneva), plus Head of Mission with the Department of Foreign Affairs, along with other diplomatic posts. Lloyd Thomson was also involved in the theatre as a playwright, actor & producer, notably co-writing the Australian musical The Sentimental Bloke (to the poetry of C.J. Dennis). Thin booklet.
