OK, you've got all the best discs by the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, by Dylan and Led Zeppelin. You've got a box full of Coltrane and Miles Davis and Johnny Cash. You've got "Blind Faith" and "Cheap Thrills" and "Layla" -- "Hotel California" and "The Harder They Come." But can you really claim to have assembled a collection of the high points of all the truly great stars of vinyl if you don't have a mint-condition copy of Imperial LP-9235 on the black label with multi-colored stars . . . "Slim Whitman Yodeling"? Not only does Slim cover "Sioux City Sue" and "Mockin' Bird Hill," but you also get his immortal renditions of "Cowboy's Heaven" and "Rainbow on The Rio Colorado," both songs by -- wait for it -- Gene Autry! Not a book but a 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm mono vinvl record album, mint condition vinyl in a near-mint cardboard jacket with remains of a small owner address label to lower right. And not one you're going to see offered every day! Now reluctantly reduced from $12.

Soft cover. Condition: Fine. First Edition. Large format softbound pamphlet, staple bound. 31 pages. Two poems by Whitman, translated into Khmer [Cambodian] by poets Ken McCullough and U Sam Oeur, Cover illustration is the portrait of Whitman by Samuel Hollyer, which first appeared in the 1855 edition of "Leaves of Grass", while the first page has a small black and white reproduction of a photograph taken of Whitman by George C. Fox in 1887. Text is represented by the original English printed on page versos, with corresponding Khmer translation on facing rectos. First edition. Ken McCullough is a widely published poet and U Sam Oeur is a Cambodian poet who survived four years in Pol Pot concentration camps.
