B&W Illustrations; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 252 pages; Barse & Co HC/DJ Quite uncommon title, especially in original pictorial dust jacket. Square snug copy in original pictorial red cloth. Pictorial dust jacket a little rubbed at edges and with an irregular "V" shaped chip mising top edge of front panel-measures approx: 2" x 1.5" x 2.5" Light chipping at spine ends. The dust jacket has several additional short closed tears at edges. Publisher's printed pictorial bookplates on pastedowns not filled in with a name. Prior owner had added two very short lengths of transparent tape to attach the jacket flaps to the endpages. Tape has fallen off but left mild residue and also lifted a small part of the pictorial design from the rear pastedown. Solid clean and attractive in original dust jacket. VG+/VG-Rather scarce.

Book is rubbed along the edges with the cloth worn through and Light fraying in several places, mostly around the edges of the spine and the corners of the boards; spine is faded; edges of textblock are lighlty dust soiled, pages are yellowed Slightly; light stains on the boards reminiscent of mildew staining and the book smells ever-so-slightly of mildew. Dustjacket light Soil is crimped and chipped with several tears along the edges -- the largest tear is about 2 inches long; edges of the jacket were reinforced with tape and the jacket is too fragile to remove the tape without causing further damage; 1 inch closed tear with small chunks missing from it over the "St" in "Start" in the front cover; covers are dust and LIGHT mildew soiled; mylar protected. 210 Pgs NO ADS in Back, Back DJ light Soil Wear Tears Edges, ,Neighbors speak of Martin & Jean, Brother & Sister who are Always Together.
