Soft cover. Condition: Good. Oversized softcover. Stiff illustrated covers with white lettering. Title page dated 1975. Copyright page not dated. 271 pages. Covers feature black and white photographs of ballroom ceiling on front and a courtyard entrance on back. Covers are rubbed and slightly faded, with some noticeable wear to edges and spine, but are otherwise unmarked. There is a print of Marquis de Lafayette tucked inside front cover. Inscription written in pen by previous owner on inside front cover. Pages are slightly toned. Otherwise text is clean and unmarked. Black and white photographs and a number of diagrams throughout. Page 159 has detached from binding (possibly torn out), but is present and tucked in appropriate place. Binding otherwise appears strong. Overall, a good copy.
