A collection of four beautiful postcards issued to promote an exhibit titled "Deco Japan" that was shown at the Japan Society Gallery in New York, from March 16 to June 10, 2012. The cards feature items from the exhibit, which highlighted how the art-deco movement manifested itself in Japan. One postcard shows stylish origami cranes in silver and gilt silver. The other three postcards all depict graphics, featuring stylish art-deco women - songbook covers and a poster. The cards are all vertically oriented and measure 4" x 6". The reverse provides information on each object and the exhibit itself. In excellent condition.
