A wonderful collection celebrating: local history; PA Dutch dialect and folklore; unique regional business and crafts; popular "Dutch" culture; etc. The booklets were first published in 1949, and included contributions by famous PA German historians, dialect teachers, and folklorists - such as: Frey, Shoemaker, Barba, Graeff, Swope, Etc.
