Signed and inscribed by co-editor Cushman on red front endpaper. Good in a very good clear heavy acetate dust jacket. Book would be near fine but pg 111 is mangled, torn and creased, looks like it got jammed in the printing process. Text is still readable. Pg 113 has less damage, a tear at fore edge and a dog ear at bottom corner. Contents clean and binding sound. Jacket lightly rubbed and scratched. Lawrence Estate" on the colophon Fine copy This complete correspondence charts the unexpected relationship between the miner s son and the Boston lady of largesse. Lawrence dedicated his New Poems to Lowell and was accused by Pound of being an Amygist. Though Lawrence resented the power her patronage gave her over him, the two writers continued an honest and insightful correspondence until Lowell s death.
