The title-page has been signed by all four editors. The title-page also carries the following inscription signed by Harvey K. Nelson - "For Des and Jen Bartlett, In appreciation for your many personal contributions to the work of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the great message of natural history you have made available to the world. Harvey." The inscription is date 1-4-85. However, a label has been pasted over the names of Des and Jen Bartlett and somebody has written the name Colin Willock. Perhaps Willock himself pasted this label on or, more likely, the book was given to Willock by the Bartletts. Willock and the Bartletts worked together on the film, The Flight of the Snow Geese, as well as several other projects. .
