First Edition Signed
First edition, first printing SIGNED. An interesting poet and anthologist born in 1899 in Brooklyn and her poetry flourished in the New York City's Renaissance of the late fifties and into the sixties often through the Cafe Poets. This copy affectionately inscribed by the author to Janine Pommy Vega though not using Janine's name instead "for a dear great lady" and signed. A wonderful association copy between two poets and two who also worked in the New York City Poetry Circuit. Very good illustrated wraps with some age toning. Janine has scribbled some notes onto the back cover, ever the scribbler.
