Blue cover w/red letters and design is in excellent shape with pictorial endpapers, gift inscription, pages starting to yellow but very clean. Unclipped dj has great picture of Uncle Sam driving a covered wagon full of children. Someone has used masking tape to mend long tears to the front. Much of the tape has come off leaving rough light tan marks, however the dj has done an excellent job of preserving the book. Tanned shadow marks from tape on decorative end papers.
