Cover: blue cloth on boards with gilt titles; mild soiling and rubbing. Spine: thin bumping and rubbed cracks (not split) to head & foot. Edges: top-edge once blue now faded to a sea green; foxing to edges. Tiny bumping to boards fore corners. Frontis: from a portrait probably painted around 1840 is General Baron Gougaud. Light foxing to a few pages although mostly to the margins. B/w illustrations. Binding is As New. 360p Dj: only the front jacket, no flaps nor spine: Top-edge missing a small section of half-curved. Edges with some small tears and chips.
