Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper. Slight cracking to gutters near title page. Frontispiece's tissue guard is slightly foxed and tanned. Text block edges are a little tanned and foxed. Text block edges are uneven. Boards have heavy edge wear, with bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are crushed and frayed. Joints worn too with splits starting. Scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Small red spatters to front.
Paperback. Condition: Very Good. Paperback, Original covers, approximately 5x8 inches, index, 506 pp, illustrated with black and white drawings. Very good. Moderate shelf wear, foxing along edges of textblock, age tanned, ½ inch tear with corresponding crease on side edge of a half-dozen or so adjoining leaves, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked and apparently never read. Stage magic; vaudeville.
