  • Soft cover. Condition: Fair. This is a photostat of a typescript manuscript written in conjunction with the Anthropology Dept., University of California, Berkeley; it (or a later version) was published (with new subtitle "An Archaeological Perspective") in Harding and Teleki's "Omnivorous Primates" (Columbia University Press, 1981); the paper is not dated but appears to have been written circa 1977. It consists of three parts, each stapled separately: the body of the paper (81 p.); references cited (paginated 82-[90]); and list of tables ([47] p.). A hole has been punched in the middle of the gutters throughout; perhaps it was bound in some way at some point; the paper has wear and has been numbered "135" in pen at upper right on two leaves; the first leaf also has a stamp indicating that this work was not accessioned by a Harvard University library. South African archaeologist Glynn Isaac (1937-1985) is regarded today as the most important Africanist of the late 20th century, and zooarchaeologist Diana C. Crader is now affiliated with the University of Southern Maine. Size: 8 1/2 x 11 inches [br 7].
