Emmanuel, Marquis de Grouchy, Marshal of France (1766-1847). As commander-in-chief of the armies of France, he successfully led his soldiers after Waterloo back to the capital. He later resigned and retired to the USA but in 1819 he returned to France and was reinstated as marshal in 1831. 009-8.
