Hardcover. Condition: Fair. FAIR / NO DJ. 72 pp. Does not include a publication date, but the inscription on the front endpaper is dated "Xmas 1906." Printed on heavy-weight paper, copiously illustrated. In addition to pen and ink drawings throughout the text, there are 6 full-color plates in beautiful condition, fresh and bright, although one is completely detached from the binding. Four grey-scale plates, two of which have been "colorized" with crayon. Unfortunately, many of the pen and ink drawings have been similarly colored in, although fairly skillfully done (stayed within the lines and such). Tiny tear in the right side of p. 15. With the exceptions described, pages are clean and undamaged; in good condition for the age of the book. Boards covered with cream-colored glossy paper with full color illustration and titling on front. Spine covered in brown fabric. Worn at top/tail of spine; worn through to boards at corners, some wear along edges. Some light stains and smudges on both covers, mainly at the edges. The front illustration is in quite good condition.
