Hardcover first edition - First printing. A charming story of magic at Christmastime, illustrated with 4 full-color, full page pictures and numerous black & white, and black, red & white drawings. Bound in red cloth with illustrated front cover, decorative endpapers. Near fine in a somewhat edgeworn, pc dustjacket. A large chip missing at the lower corner of the frotn cover and some loss of paper at the ends of the spines. Still an uncommon book in dustjacket, and the dj preserved the colorful cover in its original brightness.
