Book
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. "Indiana's Citizen Soldiers was undertaken at the suggestion of Major General Alfred F. Ahner, who believed that a modern history of the Indiana militia and National Guard would stimulate a better understanding of the importance of the state's volunteer soldiers and would promote a greater sense of pride in their heritage among Indiana's guard personnel." (Written in the Acknowledgments section.) On the back side of the front cover are a number of military personnel who wrote best wishes to the author of the book. In the middle of the book are pictures of military personnel and buildings from the National Guard. The cover, spine, and pages are in very good condition. No markings on the pages.
