Published by Buffalo Sunday News, No Date, Circa, 1900
Paperback. Condition: Very Good+. Original issue. An interesting curiosity: a complete novel printed as a newspaper premium supplement. Staplebound, approximately 7x10 1/4 inches, double column, 31 pp + ad on reverse side for the newspaper, probably the first in the series, since there is a notice on the first page, in red ink, stating that this is a sample of what will be popular novels to be given away each Sunday with the paper. Very good to near fine. Age yellowed, lower corner of first leaf creased, bit of foxing on first and last pages, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked and apparently never read. Unusual format for a work by this prolific author. Literature; ephemera; popular culture; pulp fiction.
