Condition: Fair. 1885. No Edition Remarks. 304 pages. No dust jacket. Beige cloth. Pages to end of book are uncut. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed throughout. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Cracking to hinges with exposed binding, causing boards to be slightly loose. Light water staining to edges. Binding is shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and dark rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Some dark stained marking to surfaces.

Condition: Fair. No Edition Remarks. 583 pages. No dust jacket. Paper covered boards with cloth to spine and corners. Light foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters and front hinge causing some noticeable looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has much heavier tanning with soft splitting and crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.
