Hard Cover. Condition: VG+. Dust Jacket Condition: VG+. 4th Printing. Octavo. Navy blue cloth covered boards and spine with gilt lettering on the spine. Book has light bumping at the head of the spine and plenty of bumping at the tail, both with light accompanying rubbing. Just enough rubbing to the four outside corners to take the color off of their extreme tips. Gilt lettering on the spine is not as shiny as it probably once was, but is still all gold in color, clear, and a little bit shiny. White endpapers. Binding is straight and tight. Pages are all clean, white, and crisp. 335 pages, which includes a 92 page Golssary of Middle English words in the rear of the book. Dust Jacket - has a fair amount of rubbing at the head and tail of the spine and a 1/4" chip in the head of the spine. Very light rubbing at the very tips of the four outside corners. Tiny chip in the tip of the upper front outside corner. Two tiny closed tears in the upper edge of the rear cover - upper and lower edges of the front and rear covers are otherwise sharp. Jacket is clean. Original $7.95 price on the upper corner of the front inside flap. Shows a little bit of use, but still a tight, clean, attractive copy of a somewhat uncommon book.
