Hardback. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. MEDITERRANEAN MEDLEY. Capt Lionel Dawson R.N. Rich & Cowan Ltd., London. 1933 256pp Illustrated Hardback. A fascinating and often amusing account of Royal Navy service in post war, and post treaty of Versailles, Mediterranean theatre. The author was the nephew of the famous 'Martin Ross' of Somerville & Ross fame. He saw most of his service in command of torpedo craft before, during and after the First World War. In this book we find the author in command of HMS Tobago. This copy has some foxing to the prelims and page edges but does not affect either the text or the illustrations. Bound in brown linen covered boards the spine is sun darkened. A dustwrapper is not present. Ref M5.
