Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 8vo., 156pp. Solid First Edition Square, tight and clean throughout with some bumping and minor rubbing to spine ends. Attractive unclipped dust-jacket, (15s. net), has. some small closed edge-tears, chip to the crown, a bit of toning to top edges. Still solid and complete. A very pretty collectable copy.

Condition: Good. 1955. No edition remarks. 156 pages. Black pictorial dust jacket over red cloth with gilt lettering. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book and on text block edges. Endpapers have strips of tanning caused by jacket. Pencil inscription to front endpaper. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Boards are very slightly bowed. Book has a mild forward lean. The clipped dust jacket has moderate edge wear, tears and chips to edges and spine ends. Loss to jacket edges and to spine ends. Some water staining to spine.
