Two Roman columns in the Corinthian mode support a pediment, all in gold, that is a frame for the title in red. The author's name is below the pediment between the columns in gold. A stylized green bush occupies the rest of the space between the columns and the base which contains lettering in red. A very formal design, kind of monumental. The spine has two very narrow gold columns and a narrow green bush with lettering in gold. This copy has a name written in ink with a 1902 date on the inside cover. There is a very small scrape on the edge of the rear cover; otherwise, the book is in fine, bright condition.
