Ha publicado más de 30 artículos y capítulos sobre apego, intersubjetividad y cooperación. Ha compilado con Michael Maccoby el libro sobre Erich Fromm A Prophetic AnalystErich FrommContributions to Psychoanalysis. Trabaja en la Washington School of Psychiatry, donde dirige el Centro de Apego y Desarrollo Humano. Es profesor del Intitule of Contemporary Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis y del de Instituto Mexicano de Sociopsicoanalisis en la Cuidad de México. Mario Marrone es psiquiatra, psicoanalista y psicoterapeuta de grupo. De origen ítalo-argentino, estudió medicina en la Universidad Nacional de Rosario, se formó como psicoanalista y terapeuta de grupo en Londres y ha trabajado en los ámbitos hospitalarios y privados en Argentina, España, Inglaterra e Italia.
