Now they live again as individual controllers of men and natural forces. Alerted to this menace by Aquaman, Flash and Green Lantern battle Tane, the Nature-god, while Batman, Atom, Red Tornado, and Phantom Stranger investigate the temple where these gods first appeared. Superman battles Ku the War-god, and Black Canary and Elongated Man tangle with Bongo the Jester. Finally, Phantom Stranger and Red Tornado are able to free the captive fifth god, Tangora the Wise, who re-calls his brother deities and restores all to normal, returning the gods in their shared form to the depths of the sea.: Color Illustrations.
