Trade Paperback. Condition: Used - Very Good. From Milton Keynes to Manhattan traces the history of Conran &Partner's work from their modernist routes to their current standing as an international multidisciplinary practice. Projects such as the Bluebird restaurant complex, London; the Park Hotel, Banglore; Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh; and Bridgemarket, New York are considered by way of themes and narratives, looking at Conran &Partner's use to diverse influences and styles. From Molton Keynes to Manahattan highlights the practice's interest in the way that places are inhabited and their enjoyment in bringing the tradition of modernism into dialogue with the local, the everyday and the decorative.
