A charming illustrated children's book about the goings-on at a Suffolk harvest festival. Beautifully illustrated by George Cruikshank, nephew of the famous English caricaturist of the same name. With a whimsical Address by Sir F. C. Burnand, an English comic writer and dramatist who was the Editor of "Punch" for 26 years, as well as a frequent contributor to the publication. Very Good; shelfwear, corners bumped rubbed, Small stainsfoxing on front board and some page margins. first signature loose but all pages present, interiors clean and bright, pageblock edges dyed green.
