Beige pictorial boards with paper vignette mounted to front cover. 64pp plus 4pp publisher's list. Design to rear board 'The Gem Shakespeare Library'. Colour frontispiece of children dressed as Petruchio and Katharine, echoing front cover illustration. No date but neat ink name to 1st pastedown is dated 1912. Also contains re-tellings of 'Measure for Measure' and ' Two Gentlemen of Verona'. Externally spine bumped at top and bottom. Inside rear endpaper slightly browned. Rear hinge strengthened with professional invisible booktape. Good clean and tight copy. Size: 6.5 x 4.5 Inches.

Spine and corners bumped and worn. Spine browned. Covers a bit grubby. Couple of hinges are pulled. Some foxing to endpapers and page edges. A few margin marks otherwise contents are clean.
