We write too as definite Catholics and Evangelicals thrown together, as we shall show, almost entirely under the impact of events we neither sought nor welcomed. Our previous remarks pinpoint the failure of the recent Scheme. It went wrong at conception and birth, and no amount of later aftercare could alleviate its congenital defects.'
