Dustjacket has wear to edges, some creasing to back cover, fariyl substantial open tear along top of spine and moderate rubbing, otherwise bright and presentable.

Coffee stain at top of DJ, as well as soiling and edgewear. Included is a lovely marbled notecard with the poem 'Abroad thoughts from home' inside, signed by author Broughton as 'James.'.
Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. Hart, Suzanna (illustrator). Inscribed by Author and Illustrator, James Broughton and Suzanna Hart, to Magda. Dust jacket is missing signiificant chunk at bottom left corner, rest shows light discoloration and wear to edges. Endpaper discolored but otherwise book in quite great condition, save light wear to edges of cover.
