This descriptive handbook is issued for the information and guidance of all concerned. It covers all Bulldog aeroplanes having service identification numbers between K.1603 and K.2495 inclusive. Air Publication 1393, Volume I, 2nd Edition, May 1932. Octavo, original blue cloth-backed printed boards, xvi, 120. pp. Photos, drawings & plans (some folding). The Bristol Bulldog was Royal Air Force single-seat biplane fighter, designed during the late 1920s. More than 400 Bulldogs were produced. While it was one of the more famous aircraft between the World Wars, they were never used by the British in wartime. The craft did see action during the Spanish Civil War, and by the Finns (among others) early in World War II. Fine, former-owner bookplate, with Amendments 1-3 laid-in rear. Aviation, Aeronautics, Aeroplanes, Airplanes, Aircraft, Air Planes.
