See images. Fantastic book. About the book >.>.> This multi-artist book is a new departure for d4daisy Books. It has been an exciting venture for me in particular and I have had lots of help in finding the contributors. The search was based on artists rather than subject and involved, possibly for the first time in commissioning history, the internet. The single question Who would you like to see in a book?", posted on Facebook and Blog, brought in enough talent for several books and many of the artists named were new to me. I also persuaded some of my own personal favourites and I'm delighted to tell you that no-one said 'no', which resulted in a broad range of subjects from experts in their fields. The artists were given an open-ended brief, to tell us about their personal approaches to stitch and to relate something of the influences that led to those approaches. They were also encouraged to demonstrate or discuss a favourite method. It was heart-warming to discover how willing our authors were to share their sec.
