DOCUMENTS OF THE PRE-WORLD WAR I "BOYCE EXPEDITION" TO PAPUA / FATHER'S REMEMBRANCE PUBLISHED AFTER HIS SON'S AUGUST 1928 DEATH PUBLISHER'S ORIGINAL BLACK CLOTH COVERED BOARDS WITH GILT TITLES TO THE FRONT COVER. OTHER THAN SOME PERISHING OF THE FRONT COVERS BORDER LINE ALONG THE SPINE, AN EXCELLENT CLEAN COPY. This expedition occured in the time between 1908 when Australian W.H.P. Murray was Governor of Papua and the beginning of the First World War when in 1915 he joined the Red Cross as ambulance driver for the French Army, when he would have been in his mid to late 20s. His father, a Chicago publisher of "The Blade" died the year after his son's death.
