Softcover. Condition: Near Fine. Magazine. Cover by Louise Hamlin. Quarto. Stapled stiff wrappers. Lightly rubbed, near fine plus. A poetry anthology with contributions from Susie Timmons, Alice Notley, Bill Kushner, Elio Schneeman, Daniel Krakauer, Marc Nasdor, Tom Weigel, James T. Posner, Frank Rubino, Tom Savage, and Jana Harris. Scarce poetry collection.
Paperback. Condition: Very Good. First edition. Sold here together are six random issues of Tamarind a poetry magazine. Very little publication info provided in any of the issues, but from other sources it appears that this was a magazine started in the 1980's by Yuki Hartman in the vein of Poets at Le Metro, a loosely bound collective of New York poets who would come together around a theme for each issue. Later, Dan Savage took over the helm. This batch includes (1) April 1990 issue, (2) May 1990 issue, (3) January 1992 issue, (4) January 1993 issue, (5) December 1992 issue and (6) January 1995 issue. Generally all in very good condition except for the January 1992 which experienced some dampstaining throughout. All issue of this magazine are uncommon these days.
