Meanwhile, a super-plague has crippled the city and threatens to kill all. Jimmy catches Sarna and pretends to join her radical cause; sets bombs around Kandor's bottle, and destroys it. The sudden influx of Earth environment embues the Kandorians with superpowers, including invulnerability, which cures them of the plague. They renounce their new powers, and Superman returns Kandor to a new bottle. * "The Villain Who Married Supergirl" - Supergirl is a guest in a pageant of circus artists held in Midvale. Unfortunately Supergirl catches the attention of a contestant named Raspor. Raspor claims to be an alien come to Earth to win her over, but she finds him repulsive. When he tries to harass her sexually, Kara tells him to stay away from her. * "My Super-Pet, Krypto" - When Superboy is felled by a Kryptonite meteor, he sends Krypto off to perform tasks in his stead. Later, Krypto figures out a way to free his master, and does so. * "Beware of the Bug-Belle" - While rooming with Lana Lang, Lois Lane uses her bio-ring to transform herself into the Bug-Belle to rescue a child. She keeps the identity to patrol Metropolis in Superman's absence, but a female agent of the Anti-Superman Gang steals the ring and uses it to transform herself into a super-powered Kryptonian insect form. Lois and Lana team up as an Insect Queen Duo in order to defeat her.: Color Illustrations.
