Book
Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. R. B. Way (illustrator). No date. Probably 1960s. The compilers have never owned any other than secondhand cars and being engineers by profession, have therefore developed a knowledge concerning all things that can happen to the car-owner, either on the road or at home in the garage. Much of this experience has been concentrated into this volume, together with lucid explanation and ample illustration of the "how-it-works" of such mysteries as carburation, electrical details and so on. Although all likely breakdowns are adequately covered, it is hoped that the practical knowledge imparted will lead to the prevention of mishaps rather than the cure. Illustrations. Wear and tear to D/J. Some browning to pages. But a good copy.
