[from front jacket flap] The architectural features of Cambridge and the well-known backs of the Colleges have for many years proved a fruitful field for photographers and artists of all calibres. This book of forty or so photographs of the best and least known comers of Cambridge, to which the Master of Trinity contributes a short foreword, records with clarity, sensitivity and imagination the Cambridge scene and its atmosphere today. The photograph of the shops on King's Parade, Cambridge, reproduced on this wrapper, was taken through the parapet of the roof of King's College Chapel.
