A trade edition appears in cloth with a dust wrapper. "I am honoured and delighted to contribute pictures from my private collection for this book, celebrating Eve Arnold in her 100th year. Zelda Cheatle introduced me to Eve Arnold in 2004 and I was captivated by her charm, intellect and wit. With a sparkle in her eye she recounted stories of her pictures, making the images come alive and forever committed to memory. I had been discussing with Zelda for many years how best to present Eve's work, the lesser known pictures, perhaps Asia, perhaps the civil rights movement. Working with Stuart Smith has contributed significantly to the final selection for the book. At the very start of the project, Hanan Al-Shaykh wrote a special poem for Eve, to celebrate Eve's 100th birthday. It is our pleasure to publish it. Liz Jobey has written about Eve with such insight, that even Eve's close friends discover something new about her and those new to Eve Arnold will have a portrait in words and pictures within the book.".
