Includes statements by Richard Nixon and Howard Chernoff. American photographers featured include Andre Kertesz, Diane Arbus, William Garnett, Garry Winogrand, Duane Michals, Lee Friedlander, Joel Meyerowitz, Paul Vanderbilt, Bruce Davidson, and Ansel Adams. Eight additional artists were included as part of the "New Arts pavilion," with work by Claes Oldenburg, Robert Whitman, Boyd Mefferd, Tony Smith, Newton Harrison, and Rockne Krebs.
