The top edge is dust stained. On the front FEP there is a short birthday inscription to a previous owner. As well as some B/W photographic illustrations there are also the boats sail plan, cabin and deck plans and a diagram of her lines. Both front and back FEP's and paste down papers have a map of her Westward passage. There is an appendix full of advice for single handers. 180pp. The author describes in great detail his adventures on his boat the 'Temptress' sailing her single handedly from England to Gibraltar and eventually New York.
