Condition: Good. 1905. First Edition. 150 pages. No dust jacket. Blue quarter bound cloth with gilt lettering and decoration. Inscription to front endpaper. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped and spine ends are a mildly crushed, with small splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

A few edge tears and creases, as expected with rough cut paper. Text block edges heavily foxed. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. Gilt is bright.
