Orphans' Home, Miss Ruth Lightbourn, Savoy Cafe, Monday Club, White Star, tea-hour, day-boys, Charlie Chung, and Radial Car. Churches schools and sports teams are also mentioned. Plenty about prominent citizens who had big houses near Lakeside Park. One had a cook by the name of Black Martha. Cond : Paper wrapper is light gray with black (and red) lettering. Two of the three b/w photos on front cover feature the Lighthouse and the Radial Car. Minimal edge wear. No names, marks, creases, nor tears. Clean,tight, bright. Excellent Ontario historical reference ! Quote (p. 48) : " ._._. came by train to Oakville, staying at one of the local hotels.
