Red card covers with gilt titling to the front cover. No dustjacket as issued. Spiral Binding. There are a couple of very light stain marks and a tiny tear to the card covers, Otherwise this is a very good copy and Internally Near fine. There are NO inscriptions or other marks. 68 pp. Illustrated throughout with the b/w plates. Also included with this copy is the front cover (only) of the Radio Times from May 7th, 1954, which has a lovely b/w (wood-engraved? ) illustration by CWB - the artist C. W. Bacon - of the Royal 'Yacht' Britannia going through an open Tower Bridge, with a castle in the foreground, on her way back home up the Thames. Overall, this is a Very Clean, Tight and Bright, Near 'Fine' copy. Her Majesty s reign commenced with her longest ever Commonwealth tour. It lasted from November 1953 until May 1954, encompassed 13 countries in the West Indies, Australasia, Asia, and Africa, and covered 40,000 miles.
