Shipping Terms
Orders usually ship within 2 business days, often within 24 hours. We ship books well-protected in boxes or padded mailers. There may be an additional cost for items over 2 lbs.
**A word about our shipping rate: ** In comparison to some other sellers, our shipping fees may seem high. We do try to keep our fees in line with current U.S. postal rates and our cost of shipping supplies, both of which increase regularly. Please note that AbeBooks collects their fee of 13.5% from both the book cost and the shipping cost paid by the buyer, which means out of our standard shipping rate of $5.75, we receive $4.97. The current cost to ship one book weighing between 1 and 2 lbs via post office media mail is $4.87. We package books with care, and also use recycled packaging when we can.
U.S. Domestic Priority Mail rates are based on the small flat rate box or flat rate padded envelope. If you choose U.S. Domestic Priority shipping, your rate may be adjusted depending on the size and shape of the book(s) ordered.
The United States Postal Service requires the recipient's full name or a company name. If an order is placed by a purchaser lacking a last name, we will attempt to contact the purchaser by the associated email address to ascertain a last name. In no case will we accept an order, or send a book, without the recipient's last name.
We always issue a tracking number after shipping an order.
International Shipping rates are subject to review, and adjustment before sale is finalized. Orders weighing over 2 lbs will likely require an additional cost.
