From the Author:
Whereas the Knights Templar may provide ample ground for crank stories and loony conspiracy theories, what I tried to achieve here is a narrative that's plausible. And I believe I've achieved this by taking advantage of gaps in the historical record, not by distorting it... My aim isn't only to entertain, but to inform as well.
From the Inside Flap:
● How and why were the Knights Templar established?
● Did some of them survive the arrests of 1307 that led to their Order's disbandment and were those survivors involved in setting up what is now Freemasonry?
● Why are the Masons so obsessed with the Temple of Solomon?
● How did Hiram, the Temple's Phoenician builder, evolve into Hiram Abiff, the tragic hero of Masonic lore?
These questions (and more) are all answered within...
